Old West Miniatures - set 1
Below the first 5 models.
Come detto ho acquistato alcune miniature Old West. Con i miei tempi e le mie capacità ho iniziato a pitturarli, posterò i pezzi man mano che li completo.

Old West Miniatures
I finally got some old west miniatures from Black Scorpion. Here a couple of pictures of the package and its content.
I haven't had time to closely examine them yet but it seems the shipping is alright.
I hope I'll be able to paint and field them in a reasonable time. There should be enough models to play a couple of posse (maybe three) and also field some innocent bystanders.
Concerning the rule set I think we'll use the warhammer historical - Legends of the Old West. If you readers have suggestions or opinions about this or other rule sets please let us know in the comments below!

Ho finalmente preso alcune miniature "old west" da Black Scorpion. Ecco un paio di foto del pacco e del suo contenuto.
Non ho ancora avuto il tempo di esaminarli da vicino, ma sembra che la spedizione sia a posto.
Spero che sarò in grado di dipingerli e schierarli in un tempo ragionevole. Ci dovrebbero essere abbastanza modelli per giocare un paio di bande (forse tre) e anche schierare alcuni passanti innocenti.
Per quanto riguarda il set di regole credo che useremo warhammer historical - Legends of the Old West. Se avete suggerimenti od opinioni circa questo o altri sistemi condivideteli nei commenti qui sotto!

Jade Gecko - Mordheim Mexican Stand Off
Hi all!
Last week end we played a three players Mordheim game. We played on the middle-east theme table by Uopo (with the add of a little graveyard).

Lo scorso fine settimana abbiamo giocato una partita in tre a Mordheim. Gli scenici che abbiamo adoperato sono quelli a tema medio oriente (i nuovi ancora non erano pronti ad eccezione di un bel cimitero made in Uopo).

The cool breeze raises the old dust in puffs gilded by the light of the dawn. The city appears deserted and the silence is broken only by the rustling of lizards and the screeching of vultures.
The Jade Gecko is waiting patiently for the sun's heat in the ancient stone fountain. It 'a very rare and magical creature coveted by collectors, alchemists and magicians of all types. A live specimen is worth its weight in gold. The Jade Gecko however, has a volatile and reserved nature, unintentionally channels the winds of magic with unpredictable effects.
La fresca brezza solleva l'antica polvere in sbuffi resi dorati dalla luce dell'alba. La città appare disabitata e il silenzio è rotto solo dai fruscii delle lucertole e lo stridio degli avvoltoi.
Il Geco di Giada attende paziente il calore del sole nell'antica fontana di pietra. E' una creatura magica e rarissima bramata da collezionisti, alchimisti e maghi di tutti i tipi. Un esemplare vivo vale tanto oro quanto pesa. Il Geco di Giada ha però un carattere volubile e riservato, involontariamente incanala i venti della magia con effetti imprevedibili.
Da direzioni diverse giungono tre bande: Uomini Lucertola, Predoni del Caos e Uomini della Scuola di Artiglieria di Nuln.
The rush to the Gecko starts!
Si scatena la corsa verso il Geco!
The first melees involve the Warriors of Chaos and the Sons of the Ancients, in fact the Gecko teleports without notice towards the deployment zone of the Lizardmen. One hand, this puts them in the lead for the capture but on the other puts them at the center of the other warbands' attentions. On the opposite side the human soldiers gain elevation and ground, in order to be able to take advantage of their firepower.
Le prime mischie in corpo a corpo coinvolgono i Guerrieri del Caos e i Figli degli Antichi, il Geco infatti si teletrasporta senza preavviso verso la zona di schieramento degli Uomini Lucertola. Questo da un lato li mette in vantaggio per tentare la cattura ma dall'altro li mette al centro delle attenzioni delle altre bande. I soldati umani, dalla parte opposta guadagnano terreno e elevazione per poter dispiegare la propria potenza di fuoco.
The skink priest catches the Jade Gecko and a circle of Saurus surrounds him to give him protection from the Marauders' charge. The soldiers from Nuln push forward in formation: pikes in the front and gunners in support.
Il prete scinco cattura il Geco di Giada e si circonda di saurus per sottrarsi alla carica dei servi degli dei oscuri. I soldati di Nuln avanzano in formazione: davanti le picche e pistoleri a supporto.
The battle rages while the skink priest invokes in vain the fury of Sotek on his enemies.
The Sorcerer of Chaos soars towards the skink priest, puts him out of action in a vicious knife fight and takes possession of the mystic Gecko.
La battaglia infuria mentre il prete scinco invoca invano la furia di Sotek sui suoi nemici.
Lo stregone del Caos si libra in volo verso il prete scinco, lo mette fuori combattimento in una feroce lotta al coltello e si impossessa del mistico Geco.
Weakened by heavy losses and deprived of favor of Sotek the Lizardmen withdraw. The soldiers of the Empire, after several rounds of advance, finally close the gap with the Raiders. Combining the fire of the black powder weapons with the pikes of the soldiers they repel the desperate charge of the barbarians already worn out by the long battle with the cold blooded warriors.
Eventually even the servants of the Dark Gods withdraw leaving the men of Nuln masters of the field but not of the Jade Gecko that not seen moves away amongst the dunes ...
Fiaccati dalle perdite gli Uomini Lucertola si ritirano. I soldati dell'impero dopo diversi turni di avanzata chiudono finalmente le distanze con i predoni. Combinando il fuoco delle armi a polvere nera con le picche dei fanti respingono la carica disperata dei barbari già logorati dal lungo combattimento con i guerrieri a sangue freddo. Alla fine anche i servi degli dei oscuri si ritirano lasciando gli uomini di Nuln padroni del campo ma non del Geco di Giada che si allontana non visto fra le dune...

Nuln Gunnery School Warband part II- Banda Scuola di Artiglieria di Nuln parte II
Hi, I painted some henchmen for my Nuln themed warband, a couple of spearmen and handgunners. The paintjob is very basic so I am only posting a group picture of the Inglorious Bastards.
Hopefully we'll play a three players game next Sunday and they will finally get some action!
Ciao, ho pitturato un po' di truppa per la banda della Scuola di Artiglieria di Nuln, un paio di lancieri e archibugieri. La pittura è estremamente basica dunque posto solo una foto di gruppo.
Se tutto va bene dovremmo giocare una partita a 3 giocatori Domenica prossima e finalmente ci sarà un po' di azione!
